New Pub: The hubbub of a busy airport

Usually Peter didn’t like to use his parents’ money. He even took a job in college to pay for school, just so he wouldn’t have to depend on them. But in this case, Peter was more than happy to pull out the family credit card and use up frequent flier miles.

If he was really going to save the world, he might as well pull out all the stops.

All of these people going through the airport were traveling home or on business. Peter passed through the metal detector like all the rest of them. None of them knew what he was about to do. None of them knew they brushed elbows with a hero.

Peter booked a one-way flight to Texas. He picked an airport close to Odessa and hoped the flight wasn’t too long. He only had so many hours before the cheerleader was attacked. While the plane engine hummed underneath him, Peter took out the picture again.

This picture was his destiny. He could feel it pulling him forward. Where it would lead was still unsure. The picture was only one moment in time. Hiro told him what to do and this picture showed him where to go, but after that…
