Picture prompt
Peter hadn’t seen one in a long time, but he recognized the toy immediately. He probably used to have one of his own a long time ago. Smiling a little to himself, Peter picked up the toy. When he was younger he used this thing a lot. Mostly as a joke, but now and then he was serious.
This was one of those times.
“Am I following the right path?” he asked quietly. He shifted the toy in his hand and looked down for the answer.
Yes.
Something he’d known in his heart for a long time, but it was nice to get confirmation, even if it was from a Magic 8 Ball.
