"Da~d!" Peter's young voice cracked in panic. "Dad, look! There's an alligator in the water!"
"What?" Arthur Petrelli appeared, trying his best to be patient with his young son. It ws difficult since Peter's sensitive nature was so unlike his father's.
"Alligator," Peter repeated. "My friend said they live in the sewers but this one must've gotten out. And now it's swimming here in the lake! Look!"
"Peter," Arthur sighed with his patience already coming to an end, "that's just an urban legend."
"But I saw it!" Peter insisted. "Just look!" He grabbed his father's arm and tugged hard. Arthur followed him to the water's edge.
"That's driftwood," he said flatly. Even from their distance it was obvious. Peter watched the log float in the water.
"You have no imagination, Dad."
