Aug. 26th, 2010 05:27 pmHas there ever been a time when you were attracted to someone twice your age? Or, maybe it was quite a bit younger than you. How did you deal with this attraction?
He was a lot more than just twice my age… I admit that I was attracted to Adam before I even met him. I wanted to cut myself out of the world and he reached out to me. He talked to me even when I ignored him, and over time I really grew to like his voice. He had such a great accent…
Then of course I met him and wow. He was really attractive. Of course I didn’t get to act on it because we were separated after he helped Nathan. When we met up again later there were so many other things going on that my attraction didn’t go anywhere.
So I never really had a chance to act on my attraction. It just settled in my heart until I lost Adam. I guess it was all for the best…

Definitely. It started as a childhood fantasy. The prince and the princess instantly fall in love, so of course I thought that was how it worked for everyone. I’ve always been a dreamer so when I grew up I still believed in it.
I remember the first time I fell in love at first sight. I was fifteen and her name was Amara Myles. I went to a Halloween party and saw her from across the room. My reaction to her was just “Wow”. I think that’s what let me know when I’m in love at first sight: if I look at someone, and all I can think of is “Wow”.
I’m an adult now but I still believe in love at first sight. Hell, I still experience it. I loved both Simone and Caitlin the moment I met them. In fact, I fell in love with the person I’m with right now at first sight. Whenever I look at them, I fall more in love. All I can think of is “Wow”.

Of course Claude probably survived many winters like this in the past but that was before he met Peter. The nurse wasn’t about to let his friend, however irritating he was at time, be out in the cold.

He wanted everything to be perfect-- or as close to perfect as he could possibly expect knowing his family. All the teenager could really do was make it the best Christmas he could and hope Amara liked it.

I'll answer the "where" part first. It was at a Starbuck's. He wanted a type of coffee that was currently out of season, and I convinced the girl behind the counter to sell it anyway. We talked a little and had our first kiss.
I didn't fall in love with him right away. It was more of a daily thing. The two of us grew closer and shared a lot with each other. That growing and sharing, and just little things about him... that's how I fell in love. Honestly it's still a daily thing. Every day I'm finding something about him that I love, and I hope that never stops for us.

His eyes turned in the other direction, out into the hallway that separated him from Gabriel’s room. Peter wanted to respect the man’s space but the longer he stared at that hallway the more he started to ache for Gabriel’s company. Sighing, he gave up any hope for sleep and pushed the sheets off his body.
