Sitting in the back of the class made it easier to be unnoticed. It also made it easier to not pay attention to the teacher. At the moment Peter was slumped in his seat in his perfected pose of faked interest while really his mind was off somewhere else.
History was not one of his favorite subjects. And it wasn’t like he was going to need it in nursing school. His eyes slid over to the window wishing he were out enjoying the day rather than being stuck inside.
He thought he heard a siren, and smiled a little. Some day he was going to be in that ambulance saving lives.
