Drabble of Summer #12: Lazy

He lay stretched out on his bed watching as the ceiling fan spun around. His book-bag was blocking the doorway and clothes were laying haphazardly on the floor.
“Peter!” His mother’s voice called from another room. “Have you cleaned your room yet?”
Peter let out a groan, grabbing a pillow to cover his face. It was summer vacation. He shouldn’t have to do anything! Besides, his mother didn’t clean her own house. Why should he have to clean his room?
Cleaning would have to involve him getting up. Wasn’t going to happen.
