Drabble of Summer #20: Adventure

spongetasticPeter once felt the wind against his face as he flew across the sky. He saved a cheerleader and saved the world. He fought against his greatest enemy, and against himself. Peter even faced death.
He traveled over the sea and into the future. Peter walked with villains. He was the most powerful one of them all, and then had no power at all. Peter watched as family members were gained and lost.
He held a dying woman in his arms. He saw another slip from his grasp. A girl climbed the top of a Ferris Wheel and showed the world what she could do.
“What are we going to do now?” Sylar wondered. Peter couldn’t help the smile that formed on his face.
“To live would be an awfully big adventure.”
