Lately, nothing seemed to be going according to plan. Going nuclear in the skies above New York was certainly not something Peter ever planned on. But it happened and he was forced to adjust to his new life behind the walls of Hartsdale. He planned on staying there keeping the world safe from him.
But once again things took a different turn than Peter expected. This time in the form of a blonde named Elle Bishop.
She was gone now but Peter could still smell her. Could smell both of them, actually, and what they just did together. Definitely not according to plan. Peter wanted to feel something besides the dull numbness that came every time he took those Haitian pills. He liked Elle: she was beautiful, and fun, and exciting.
For months now they danced around each other with light teases. Never quite reaching that point though Peter knew Elle would be willing. He rolled over on the bed with his nose pressed to the mattress. They were going to have to wash these sheets now.
Peter and Elle just crossed that line. They flirted with it and even brushed against it a few times, but now they most definitely were on the other side. Peter hardly planned for that.
The only good thing was that there were no expectations on either side. They didn't really belong to each other, anyway. Not the way Peter would have wanted in a relationship. So Peter didn't even say that he loved Elle after they finished fucking. He just put his clothes back on and watched her walk out the door.
No plans for another encounter. But then, it seemed to work out better that way.
