Rigby had her hand covering her mouth to keep the laughs from escaping. Peter continued to stare at her looking completely serious. It took a while for Rigby to calm down, and when she did she finally pulled her hand away from her mouth.
“You’re not Irish, Peter,” she said.
“…So?” he retorted. That fact certainly didn’t stop him from wearing a leprechaun hat or a shamrock pin that read “Kiss Me, I’m Irish”.
“So…” Rigby reached for him, an endearing smile on his lips. “You’re getting a little over enthusiastic about St. Patrick’s Day for a non-Irishman, aren’t you?”
“Not at all, lassie,” Peter answered in his best Irish accent. He winked at her and caused her to muffle another giggle.
“Are you drunk?” Rigby was compelled to ask him.
“No.” Peter grinned, pulling her body flush against his and giving her neck an affectionate nuzzle. “It’s just a very good day.”
“Mmmm,” Rigby sighed out. “Can’t argue with that.”
