He let out a sigh of contentment, his fingers lazily moving their way along Rigby’s spine. This was by far his favorite part. Not to say that he didn’t love the sex, but after the euphoria died down it was nice just laying in bed watching Rigby.
“What?” she asked sleepily.
“Nothing,” Peter murmured. “You’re beautiful, that’s all.” She smiled at him, cuddling up closer. Her body heat was intoxicating. “I love you.”
“Love you too,” she answered. Her lips found his and they spent a few minutes tasting each other’s mouths. “You working in the morning?” Rigby asked.
“Nope.” A smile played on his lips as his fingers tangled in the girl’s hair.
“Night shift, then?”
“Nope.” Peter’s smile grew wider. It took a few moments for the implications to set in.
“No!” Rigby gasped. Peter grinned, his eyes sparkling. “You have the day off?”
“Mmmhm,” he confirmed. “And I plan on spending it with my beautiful bride-to-be.”
“Ohh, I definitely like the sound of that.” Rigby kissed him happily. Peter rolled her over and though his day off didn’t technically start until the following morning, he wanted to make the most out of it right away.
