spongetasticHe stood on the ledge feeling the wind gently drift around him. The city stretched out on every side. He took a deep breath, feeling determination settle in.
Carefully Peter lifted his foot and started to fly.
That's how it all began. Some thought it was the eclipse, and maybe it was for them. But for Peter, it was that first dream. It gave him the hope that he was meant for something amazing.
Not much had changed about the city's landscape since he stood up here that first time. He peered down to the street below and tried not to picture Nathan standing there. Not much had changed, and everything had changed.
Peter stared out over the city as if he were still searching for something. And maybe he was.
