The water turned on, hot and refreshing against his bare skin. Peter let out a sigh of relief, pushing his hair out of his face. He didn’t think he would ever be back here again. But the world outside was getting more dangerous and this had always been a safe place.

Adelle guided the girl to a chair while Peter went to get wet cloths to clean away the blood. A first aid kit would be the next step but Desmond beat him to that.
